Europay International is to deploy Computer Associates' eTrust solutions to secure its infrastructure and support a new IT fraud security initiative.
Europay is already using eTrust Access Control, and is to deploy Intrusion Detection, Audit and Policy Compliance modules as part of a central IT monitoring programme to combat internal and external computer threats, network abuse, misuse and intrustions. The new eTrust solutions will be combined with Europay's Aristion fraud detection software.
Christophe Stenuit, Europay's manager of IT security, states: "With IT fraud attempts increasing globally by 25 per cent a year, security isn't just an IT issue for Europay - it's a business imperative."
