Seattle-based insurance firm Safeco is to deploy technology from Sybari to secure its exchange servers from e-mail viruses, worms, and malicious code.
Safeco's exchange servers are used to transmit communication and documents among 15,000 users.
Rodger Anderson, senior systems analyst for Safeco, says: "Because of the phenomenal increase in viruses being spread by e-mail, it was critical for us to find a solution which would successfully and completely scan and clean all e-mail at the root."
