Fixed income market data vendor GovPX has appointed Karl Haeling as vice president, global sales director.
Based at the firm's New York headquarters Haeling will be responsible for the GovPX sales staff in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo as well as New York. He will also oversee sales and support the GovPX network of financial market vendors.
Haeling was most recently with Newsgrade.com, an Internet start-up with market data aspirations. Prior to this he served as chief operating officer and chief business strategist for Global Exchange Services North America, Deutsche Bank Securities in New York. Haeling also claims credit for establishing and building Deutsche Bank's institutional futures and options business in Frankfurt, Germany.
