Lloyds TSB has launched a new real-time service allowing Internet banking registered customers to arrange and amend their overdraft limits online.
Online applications take only a few minutes and typically decisions will be given immediately, says the bank. The overdraft is then available instantly, allowing customers to get cash straight away from the ATM, branch or by using their debit card.
Peter Ayliffe, managing director of Personal Banking and Cards for Lloyds TSB, says: "Our new real-time online overdraft facility will make it even easier for customers to set up an overdraft immediately, as well as being able to use any of our 2100 branches or the telephone."
