EDS is reporting $250 million in UK contract signings, including an eight-year extension agreement with Girobank for the continued provision of merchant acquiring services until 2010.
Launched in August 1996, Girobank Merchant Services has grown rapidly and has become the fourth largest merchant acquirer in the UK.
EDS has also won a three-year extension to its existing Consistent Office Environment contract with BP plc.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
