The funeral was held this morning of Iain Antill, a much-loved and respected member of the financial technology community, who died suddenly of a heart attack last week.
Iain Antill's career in the financial technology world spanned nearly 20 years. From his early days at Arbat, through Micrognosis, Reuters, UBS and most recently at Reuters again, Iain combined professionalism with a wicked wit without losing the respect of his colleagues.
There are many anecdotes about Iain's work and his life and everyone who attended his funeral had a story to tell.
He is mourned by his wife Annette, children, close family and all who have worked with him over the years.
