UK-based Burns e-Commerce Solutions has appointed Rodney Baker-Bates, former chief executive of Prudential Financial Services as chairman.
Baker-Bates spent three years at Prudential where he was responsible for developing and implementing the company’s strategy in the financial services market including direct-to-consumer and employer-sponsored pension saving schemes. He has also worked for the BBC, Midland Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank and Arthur Andersen.
Burns e-Commerce offers companies B2B services to streamline payment transactions between suppliers and their banks, via the Internet.
