ValiCert is to integrate its Financial Express security software suite with the bolero.net open trade finance platform.
Launched at the end of September 1999 by the logistics and banking communities, bolero.net is a global initiative to move trade onto the Internet.
"Eight out of the world's top ten banks have now signed on with bolero.net, as well as major trading houses such as Mitsui and Marubeni; and carriers such as K Line, Cosco and Evergreen," says Peter Scott, commercial director of bolero.net. "Through ValiCert Financial Express, enterprises will now be able to message across our network through ValiCert's secure e-transaction infrastructure, enabling secure, provable, legally binding trade finance transactions."
The Financial Express transactional security package has been designed for Identrus financial institution members and other banks engaged in trade finance and cash/treasury management.
