Electronic trading platform Volbroker has upgraded its Web-based FX options service using Java-based messaging technology from middleware vendor my-Channels.

The new service incorporates my-Channels' Nirvana and Matrix components to enable high performance messaging and transparent integration with any clients existing technology, says the company.

Dirk Ward, CEO, Volbroker, comments: "As our client base grew so did our requirement for a scaleable and flexible messaging platform. Having evaluated many different solutions the technology from my-Channels was found to be superior, both in terms of performance and functionality".
