Italy-based online brokerage firm Fineco has selected MicroStrategy software to improve business operations and enhance customer relations.
The online broker will deploy MicroStrategy's business intelligence platform to deliver personalised financial information to its 300,000 customers via the Web, short message service (SMS), email, fax and voice.
The platform will enable Fineco to analyse customer behaviour through its diverse channels (Internet, show room, call centre) and launch personalised marketing campaigns targetting identified customer segments, says the company.
The agreement includes the participation of systems integrator Sol-Tec Soluzioni Technologiche for the planning and implementation of Fineco's data warehousing solutions.
Edoardo Giorgetti, director of marketing at Fineco, says: "We selected MicroStrategy for its superior analytical capabilities and for its ability to integrate with Fineco's existing systems."
