Den norske Bank revamps Web site

Norway's Den norske Bank has restructured its corporate and customer-facing Web site under a contract with new media agency Razorfish.

The bank engaged Razorfish to establish a new technological platform and to re-launch the previous 8000-page site with a more customer focused, streamlined navigation.

Following extensive usability testing the new site has been developed to accommodate future segmentation and incorporate new products and services. Using the site, customers can conduct their online banking and personalise their content, as well as access the latest financial news and daily reports.

Opportunity also exists for expansion across new delivery platforms, such as iTV and 3G wireless.

Jan Juel Vanberg, bank manager responsible for DnB.no, says: "The new DnB.no represents the first step in the company's commitment to establishing the Internet as an essential channel for distributing our range of financial products and services and increasing interaction with our customers."

The Norwegian bank is the latest in a series of recent Razorfish projects in the financial services sector, including Patagon, State Street, HypoVereinsbank, and ADIG Investment.
