BondEdge, a US bond analysis provider owned by FT Interactive Data, has entered the European fund market with its range of portfolio management products, according to a report in the Financial Times.
The FT report says the Web-based company aims to cater to European bond investors' greater need to gain exposure to the credit markets. It also hopes to benefit from the trends towards more active portfolio management against benchmarks, better diversification and concerns about avoiding excessive concentrations of credit or currency risk.
