Emirates NBD is using Amazon Web Services (AWS) machine learning and data analytics technology to help build a "bank of the future".
The UAE-based bank has gone all in on AWS AI, IoT and natural language processing technology as it seeks to build a more personalised retail banking experience for its customers.
Emirates NBD is tapping Amazon Personalize, an AWS machine learning service that enables the development of individualised recommendations for customers.
Natural Language Processing technology will help customers interact with call centre automation in a more natural way. To support this, Emirates NBD is using Amazon Polly, a cloud service that uses deep learning technologies to convert written content into human-like speech.
Meanwhile in branches the bank is exploring the use of AWS's image recognition and IoT offerings for authentication.
