UK-based Sirius Group has teamed up with Focus, a software solutions vendor, to provide full end-to-end processing of life and insurance contracts between independent financial advisors and insurance companies.
Through the integration of Focus' goal:technology into Sirius' Swift 2001 product, IFAs and life & pensions insurance providers will be able to undertake whole client transactions electronically from the original factfind to the completion of product application for the chosen product, through to updating the client database. IFA's will only need to input data once throughout the whole process, says Sirius, therefore reducing time and cost.
The companies claim the product will be the only IFA administration software to offer the extended functionality of a direct link to insurers.
Under the agreement, joint marketing initiatives will be undertaken to increase awareness of the partnership, including PR initiatives, research and a joint presence at technology events.
