Metavante Corporation has licensed Financial Fusion Server 4.0 to support its current OFX (Open Financial Exchange) strategy and future IFX (Interactive Financial Exchange) development for the exchange of financial information over the Internet.
"The licensing agreement for Financial Fusion Server supports our strategy to drive growth in online financial services through the use of open standards and interoperable networks," says Nancy Langer, president and general manager, Metavante electronic presentment and payment (EPP).
The Financial Fusion Server is a component in the development of a common messaging platform for Metavante to build and deliver technology for its clients. The server, which enables consumers to obtain financial information from multiple sources, will bolster Metavante's e-commerce offerings such as electronic banking, electronic presentment and payment and wealth management, she says.
