VerticalOne, an S1 Corporation subsidiary, is to provide its account aggregation service to Yahoo! Finance. Consumers will be able to use the system to consolidate their financial dealings within their own information portal on the Yahoo! Web site
Yahoo! joins 20 other portal and destination sites in offering the VerticalOne service. Rather than compel each customer to seek out and log onto multiple financial Web sites, VerticalOne brings all desired personal financial information to the consumer in a single location.
US Bancorp Piper Jaffray recently forecast that the number of individuals using aggregation services will increase from fewer than one million today to 90 million over the next five years.
