SecFinex bolsters IT development team

SecFinex, the online marketplace for securities finance has announced four new IT hires, Richard Deehan, Glynn Bourne, Mark Williams and Miriam Healy, bolstering its London-based IT development team.

Richard Deehan, 40, head of design, has 15 years of software development experience at firms including European Bank (EBRD), Natwest Markets, Standard Chartered Bank and Colt Telecom.

Glynn Bourne, 37, technical architect, was most recently senior team leader at LevelSeas.com, the B2B exchange for the shipping industry, where he managed a team of 25 developers and was responsible for the application design/architecture.

Mark Williams, 34, technical evangelist, has held consulting positions at QA Training, ING Barings, Intel, GE Capital and SilverStream and has a backgound in training and developer mentoring.

Miriam Healy, 28, applications engineer, previously worked as senior web developer for an online financial aggregator.

SecFinex aims to streamline and automate routine business processes such as security searches and general collateral trades. These can be integrated into proprietary systems to facilitate straight through processing. Securities borrowers and lenders can also use the SecFinex platform to anonymously post, negotiate and agree stock loans and borrows.
