Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX) has signed a three-year agreement with Swedish trading technology vendor OM for the delivery of its Click exchange system. Implementation of the project will begin autumn 2001.

Under the agreement, OM will act as an application service provider (ASP) running the operations of MGEX on a platform that can be shared by a number of exchanges.

Magnus Böcker, head of OM's division technology, says this is the first time OM has taken on the role of partner to smaller exchanges.
