BSS are trading facilities developed by Stock Exchange participants or vendors for the provision of electronic trading services to investors through the Internet, mobile phones, and other electronic channels.

Participants involved in the current rollout include ASG Brokerage; Asia Financial (Securities); CSC Securities (HK); GOA Securities; Henyep Securities; Infast Brokerage; ING Baring Securities (Hong Kong); Kilmorey Securities; Merrill Lynch Far East; New Universe Securities (HK); Po Kay Securities & Shares Co.; SBI E2-Capital Brokerage; Wellfull Securities; and Wing On Cheong Securities.

There are now 137 Stock Exchange participants using BSS and HKEx expects more systems to be introduced before year-end.
