Under the agreement, Iris Financial's ECoNnect ECN interface toolkit will be marketed alongside the Front Arena fixed income trading solution.

The Iris package provides a common look and feel for ECNs, despite their differing behaviours and interaction requirements, and displays the best prices across multiple ECNs on a single screen. The product may be adapted to accommodate new ECNs entering the market, as well as additional instrument classes.

Front’s fixed income trading platform, Arena, provides real-time integration to the established European exchanges such as Eurex, Liffe and SWX. An operating unit of SunGard Trading Systems, Front Capital Systems is headquartered in Stockholm with regional offices in London, New York, Frankfurt, Zurich and Johannesburg.
