Clients are now able to access the bank's Global Markets Web site and MoneyFunds Direct.com Web site, through Inform, the bank's Web-based platform for client communications.

The Bank of New York's Global Markets Web site includes foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate information, proprietary research and FX exchange trade execution capabilities. These services are provided by iFX Manager, an automated FX trade order management and execution system for fund managers.

Global Markets also provides access to Interactive Portfolio Flow Monitor (iPFM), an interactive research tool for global capital flows available online. This provides real-time illustrations of cross-border capital flows. These can be categorised by investment classes mapped against published market data such as FX rates, equity-market indices and fixed-income government benchmark issues.

By accessing MoneyFunds Direct.com, depositary receipt clients are connected to information about short-term investment vehicles, including 15 well-known fund families. Investors can research fund information, download reports, buy and redeem funds, check daily balances, and transfer funds - all online.
