Bank One is converting its cheque card portfolio to the Visa Debit Processing Service (DPS) processing platform.
In addition to providing Visa cheque card processing support, Visa DPS will offer HNC Falcon Fraud Detection Services for the bank's cheque card portfolio. This service will provide Bank One with real-time neural network scoring, customised rules and strategies, a case management workstation, and complete management reporting, says the company.
The DPS Falcon fraud detection service is fully integrated with the DPS authorisation system, allowing for real-time authorisation decision capabilities.
Bank One is the third largest Visa cheque card issuer in the US, with 4.2 million cards issued.
