The xmlinfinance.org site offers information on forthcoming XML events and seminars, a guide to using XML and links to other useful Web sites.

"We are seeing a large amount of interest in XML in the financial services sector," says Mike Hope, SoftQuad's marketing manager.

He says the aim of xmlinfinance is to provide a resource centre where financial firms can research and share knowledge.

"In the next few months we plan to introduce online discussion groups and case study examples," he adds.
