Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown is to offer clients online derivatives trading analysis and risk management via Derivatives.com, the new Web-based ASP service from Imagine Software.
Derivatives.com offers a Web-based real-time trading and risk management system for analysing equity and fixed income instruments. It delivers the functionality of the Imagine Trading System in a cost-efficient and Internet-accessible application, says the company.
Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and its affiliates has been using the customised Imagine software application for its proprietary trading since 1996. By including the new Web-based Derivatives.com in its package of services, the bank believes it will be able to deliver technology to its equity clientele that was once beyond their reach.
Derivatives.com also claims to perform many middle and back office services, including corporate actions maintenance, daily event processing and standard pricing curve generation.
