Asset Control's tech is used by Scotiabank, Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas, among others, to manage high volumes of financial market and reference data.

The Fidelity Ventures company has gained backing from IDA Ireland for the new Dublin jobs, which will be open to graduates and senior developers.

Phil Lynch, president and CEO, Asset Control, says: "The quality of software and specialist technological skills available in Ireland allows us to expand our staff and therefore effectively continue to offer a high level of service to our global client base."

In February IDA Ireland also managed to lure Fidelity Investments into adding 100 new technology jobs at its sites in Galway and Dublin, Ireland.
