Dublin-based financial software vendor CR2 has appointed Iain Wilson as global group head of services. He will also sit on the company's executive board.
Based in London, Wilson will be responsible for overseeing global project management and consulting teams operating out of London, Dublin, Australia, Dubai, India and Zimbabwe. He is also charged with ensuring a high-level of service is provided by the company for day-to-day support, including a 24x7 help desk and issue management service once a product or site has gone live.
Wilson brings to CR2 over twenty years experience across e-banking, private banking, international payments and wholesale banking sectors. He entered the industry initially as a software developer, before moving on to become development manager and operations director for financial services organisations such as Financial Objects, ICL Financial Services Division and BIS Banking Systems (now part of Misys plc).
