Bloomberg Television has set 7 May as launch date for the Asian version of its Moneycast programme, providing US primetime viewers with the latest financial market analysis and insight from the region.

Airing in the critical overlap period when the US markets close for the day and Asian stock exchanges begin trading, Bloomberg Moneycast Asia will analyse the big market-moving stories alongside the latest global financial developments and their impact on the new Asian trading day. The programme will be also be simulcast on Bloomberg Television in Europe and Asia.

"The three-hour-long show will be broadcast live from Tokyo with on-the-spot reports from Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, London and New York," says Bloomberg Television's Asia Pacific media director, James Ross.
