Greece's Piraeus Bank has gone live with the Fiserv Universal Banking system across its Cyprus operations ahead of a wider roll out.

Following the eight month implementation, Piraeus is now deploying the technology in Egypt and planning a roll out in an unnamed third country as it looks to expand its operations in the region.

Fiserv says its platform will help Piraeus meet it growth plans and manage operational costs and risks.
