Tullett & Tokyo Liberty has been named as the first UK user of the latest version of SlingShot, the streaming market data service of CSK Software.
Tullett is using Slingshot to stream its Spot FX prices over the Internet. The application was installed in under thirty minutes, says CSK. Slingshot is also being developed by Tullett to broadcast sterling money-market prices and off-balance sheet prices.
The CSK application has replaced a streaming solution that Tullett operated through an ISP, an external implementation that inhibited the flexibility and rapid product development the company required says Anthony Rooke, business technical manager of Tullett & Tokyo Liberty. "We needed a solution with which we could quickly develop our own products," he explains.
