The bank is using Aperture's Vista package to manage power, cooling and storage in its data centres.

Aperture says it Vista platform provides information on the equipment deployed in JPMorgan's data centres, which speeds provisioning and equipment moves and changes while providing the detailed information needed for data centre capacity management.

Justine Corby, VP, data centre management with JPMorgan Chase, says: "In the competitive environment of financial services, companies must ensure the controlled utilisation of investments in data centre space and Aperture allows us to do so, at all times."

Bill Clifford, CEO, Aperture Technologies, says: "JPMC clearly sees the benefits of using next-generation tools to gain visualisation into its data centre functions."
