Linedata signs River and Mercantile to LongView ASP

French fintech vendor Linedata Services has signed newly formed London investment boutique River and Mercantile Asset Management to its hosted portfolio management, order management and compliance system, LongView ASP.

The vendor says its LongView ASP package includes its fully managed electronic trading service, LongView LyNX, which will connect River and Mercantile to certified brokers and direct liquidity sources for equity, fixed income and FX instruments.

Julian Cripps, COO, River and Mercantile, says: "As a new business, we want to be able to concentrate on our core competencies in investment management and client relationship management. We decided early on to outsource our operations as far as possible, for our front and back office systems, as well as IT infrastructure and connectivity."

Paul Roberts, COO Linedata Services Europe, comments: "By offering LongView and LongView LyNX through an ASP model, market leading functionality and connectivity is instantly more accessible to investment managers who do not want the overhead and burden of IT operations. With this solution they can still use sophisticated tools to optimise their operations, and keep full control of their core business."

Linedata says River and Mercantile Asset Management is its first European customer for Longview ASP.
