BizService, a provider of payments processing services to financial institutions in Brazil, is deploying Trintech's PayWare CMS technology to manage its card issuing operations.
BizService was founded in 2004 by BPN Brazil Bank - part of the Group Banco Português de Negócios - to provide third party payment services to banks across the country.
Dublin-based Trintech says the PayWare system will enable BizService to process card transactions on behalf of multiple financial institutions in multiple currencies, while supporting varied card programmes. Switching technology will automate transaction processing and settlement functions.
Trintech says the Unix-powered relational database will provide BizService with the ability to configure card accounts and create and modify credit card programmes.
