Reuters hires Misys' Andrew White to head trade and risk management business

Reuters has appointed Andrew White, former CEO of Misys' banking division, as global head of its trade and risk management business.

White joined Misys as CEO of the firm's wholesale banking systems division in 2003, but left the company in June of this year during a re-organisation which saw Clive Pedder take over the position.

Prior to this White was at Marlborough Stirling where he was COO and chief executive of the vendor's joint venture mortgage processing business with online bank Egg.

Between 1999 and 2002, he was COO of Us Internet banking systems vendor Corillian Corporation. From 1992 to 1998, he held various positions at Reuters in the UK and US in sales and business development roles.

In his new role, White will report to Peter Moss, global head of Reuters' enterprise division.
