Calleo Group has struck a deal to provide its banking clients with access to epicRealm's global network of 1500 points of presence.
Launched in April 2000, the epicRealm network is purpose-built for the rapid delivery of e-business content globally. Calleo says banks which shift their online business to the network can expect reduced cost and increased service levels.
"Companies are becoming very aware of the need to deliver their service on a global scale as efficiently as possible," says Lawrence Thomas, general manager Emea at epicRealm. "This agreement highlights the important role content delivery is playing, particularly in the financial sector. Working with Calleo is a great step for us as we continue to expand through Europe," he says.
