Eurobase says the front-end will provide access to a range of products, including FX, money markets and derivatives. Streaming prices from WestLB's existing rate management system will be fed into the Siena pricing engine for display on e-Trader.

Frank Schmidt, director e-trading and IT strategy, WestLB, says: "Using e-Trader allows us to provide part of our internal trading functionality to our clients – thereby implementing another key component of our virtual trading floor initiative."
