DSTi names SunGard's Pam Pecs Cytron EVP North America

UK-based investment management software vendor DST International (DSTi) has appointed SunGard's Pam Pecs Cytron as executive vice president of its North America operations.

Cytron was hired as managing director, Americas, at SunGard subsidiary Front Capital Systems in June last year, after a three year break from the firm. She was appointed to the newly-created position in order to drive sales of the Front Arena package across North and South America. Her previous role at SunGard was head of sales for SunGard Investment Management Systems.

During her break from SunGard, Cytron was senior vice president, sales and general manager, North America for Netik.

DSTi has also poached sales staff from SunGard Portfolio Solutions, Netik, Financial Models Company (FMC) and Mellon to bolster its North American sales team.

David Reid joins the firm as vice president, business development. Reid comes from Mellon Global Securities Services where he was vice president and product manager. Prior to this he was senior vice president of Eagle Investment Systems Corporation.

The vendor has appointed Marshall Saffer as vice president, sales. He was previously vice president of North American sales at FMC.

Kimberly Gonzalez joins DSTi as director of client relations. Gonzalez comes from SunGard Portfolio Solutions, where she was client services manager.

DSTi has also appointed Netik's Don Hadden as Canadian sales executive.

Mike Winn, DSTi's CEO, says: "DSTi has been relatively low key in North America. That's now changing very quickly."
