Japanese trading firm Marubeni Corporation is installing IPC's Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) trading desktops, IQMX, at its treasury and trading department and precious metals dealing room in Tokyo.

Ichiro Hashida, of Marubeni's treasury and trading department, says the system will increase trading efficiency while reducing system operation costs.

"We selected IQMX because of its compact size on the desktop, user friendliness, integrated intercom, and smaller backroom footprint," he adds.
