Germany's NRW.Bank, the development bank for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, has installed SunGard eProcess Intelligence's intelliMatch software to automate reconciliations at its capital markets division.
The bank is using intelliMatch to handle the reconciliation of trade data with its back-office systems and to perform system-to-system reconciliation for its multiple sub-ledger applications with its front-office system, which is SunGard's Front Arena.
The bank currently tracks and reconciles about 20,000 trades in its portfolio.
Jens Heinrich, director IT trading at NRW.Bank, says: "All of our processes, procedures, and reports are already configured and functioning well with intelliMatch."
SunGard says NRW.Bank chose the intelliMatch system after a successful implementation of the product at sister bank WestLB.
