London-based front office systems vendor FinScope has appointed John Owen - co founder and executive vice president of financial technology consultancy Capco - as non-executive chairman of its board of directors.
Prior to Capco, Owen was managing director and global head of derivative operations at Bankers Trust.
Before Bankers Trust, Owen served as principal at IBM, where he developed a global capital markets consulting business.
He has also worked at UBS where he held roles including head of global derivatives support. He also worked at Andersen Consulting for eight years.
