LineData Services has released an ASP-based version of its LongView order management system.
The ASP version significantly reduces the IT resources required to support the OMS while providing all of the business and workflow benefits of the traditional LongView Trading full install, says the vendor.
LongView ASP was rolled out in late 2003 in the UK, followed by the US roll-out to Lincoln Equity Management, earlier this year.
Michael Pytosh, president of Lincoln, anticipates the migration to the remote host will free-up precious IT time to focus on research and investment projects. "As a long-time user of LongView Trading, we are eager to take advantage of the enhancements available in LongView ASP, without needing to divert internal technology resources."
