ABN Amro has installed Standpipe Studios' Web-based project management system, Vertabase Pro, in a bid to improve the management of internal IT projects at its global futures group.
The software will be used to centralise information on the status, requests and approvals for projects, resource usage and issue tracking across the bank's offices in London, Chicago and New York.
Edward Merchant, executive director and CIO for ABN AMRO Global Futures in New York, says Vertabase Pro provides a way to share data across projects and locations.
"This gives our IT managers a single, consistent way of tracking the success of their projects and visibility into how resources are being used across our organisation. It also gives our executives easy-to-use, big picture reports on everything we're doing," adds Merchant.
