Wachovia is implementing Palisades Technology Partners browser-based loan origination system, Impact Mortgage Services Suite, across its mortgage lending network.
The Impact platform includes components for pricing, fees, compliance and mortgage calculations that can be shared across a variety of channels, allowing for easy integration into the bank's existing infrastructure.
Palisades says the system will shorten loan application processing time, increase capacity and improve efficiency while ensuring Wachovia's continued compliance with regulations.
Carmine Cacciavillani, CEO, Palisades Technology Partners, says the product can be adapted to meet customer needs and changing mortgage lending market conditions.
"In addition, the Impact platform's n-tier architecture, reusable components and Java design allow it to run with only a browser on the desktop, giving it unprecedented scalability and reliability," says Cacciavillani.
