UK-based financial sector consultancy and software developer Tiger Consultants has signed an agreement to market Yash Technologies' offshore outsourcing services to firms in Europe.
Illinois-based Yash Technologies provides offshore services in e-commerce, database and networking from its sites in Indore and Hyderabad in India.
Under the agreement, Tiger's software services division, Camaga Software, will act as the exclusive agents for Yash Technologies' services in Europe, with Tiger being responsible for marketing the services in the financial sector.
Tiger will also have exclusive access to reources at Yash Technologies' Hyderabad development centre.
Stanton Smith, director of Tiger's software services division, says the agreement provides the firm with access to the IT skills and resources of a leading offshore development company.
"We will be able to utilise a range of skill sets, including Actuate, Oracle, Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft .NET and Java - all of which are core to our focus on data warehousing and reporting for financial services companies," he adds.
Yash Technologies says the partnership will provide it with access to the European financial services markets and to increase sales by widening its client base.
