South Carolina-based South Financial Group has implemented technology from Financial Fusion to consolidate its consumer and small business Web banking operations onto a single online platform.
South Financial is using the Financial Fusion Banking Suite on Windows 2000 with SQL Server to provide a single online banking platform for both consumer and small business customers.
The group has implemented modules from the vendor's Consumer Banking and Small Business Banking packages for online banking, electronic bill payment and presentment, alerts and cheque imaging.
Quintin Sykes, executive vice president, South Financial Group, says the Financial Fusion platform will enable the bank to increase operating efficiencies and manage functionality across it customer base.
"Scalability was also crucial. Since we deployed our Financial Fusion platform, our online customer base has tripled with no capacity issues," adds Sykes.
