US-based TCF Bank is deploying S1 Corporation's Branch Banking Solutions package across its network of 395 branches.
The bank has been using S1's Branch Solutions since 1993 and is implementing the branch banking package as part of an upgrade of its retail technology.
As well as implementing S1's teller application and sales and service platform, the bank is also installing the vendor's personal banking and customer centre products in order to improve its retail Web banking services.
TCF Bank says the software will provide customer service staff with the tools to provide more personalised service and effectively cross-sell to branch banking customers.
Betsy Rojas, vice president of project management at TCF Bank, adds: "The modular design of the S1 system will allow TCF to distribute new product and service offerings to the branches without re-installing the entire system."
