Scotia Capital is distributing Beauchamp Financial Technology's (BFT) FundManager system to its hedge fund clients and is deploying the vendor's Trading Data Platform (TDP) to support its prime brokerage business.
Scotia Capital will bundle FundManager with its portal to provide a front-end portfolio management and trading system for its hedge fund clients.
The firm will use TDP as a data warehouse for its prime brokerage business.
Stuart Farr, chief executive officer of BFT, says: "Working with Scotia Capital is an important part of our strategy to become the dominant provider of hedge fund software solutions to fund managers in North America."
