Denmark's Danske Bank is to purchase 700 positions of Reuters 3000 Xtra and market data infrastructure software for a global installation programme commencing in 2001.
The real-time news and analytics software will be implemented over a Tibco Rendezvous network at the bank's offices in Copenhagen, London, New York, Luxembourg, Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo.
Dominique Durand, managing director Reuters Nordic and the Baltics, says the contract marks the largest singe sale of its flagship 3000 Xtra package in the region.
