NatWest glitch denies savers interest

A technical glitch has seen NatWest fail to pay interest on thousands of customer savings accounts and ISAs.
Customers logging into their online accounts this week were greeted with a message saying: "We are aware that monthly, quarterly and annual interest payments have not been applied to some savings accounts.
"This is being investigated as a priority and we'll update you with more information as soon as we can.
"In the meantime, you do not need to take any action - your account will be updated to the correct position and you will not lose out on any interest."
