Peter Reitz will be responsible for business development at the online derivatives exchange.
Reitz joins Eurex from Dow Jones & Company, New York, where he was responsible for product development and business development worldwide as executive director in the index division.
The Eurex exchange council is expected to appoint Reitz to the general management of Eurex Frankfurt at its next meeting.
