Alessandro Hatami, digital payments and innovations director at Lloyds banking Group has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the forthcoming Finextra Future Money conference, run in association with fintech accelerator space Level39.

Taking place at Level39 in Canary Wharf on 30 April and 1 May, Finextra Future Money will bring together banks, government agencies, public policy makers, VCs and start-ups to debate the future of banking and the influence of the digital lifestyle on financial services.

With a background in entrepreneurial start-ups and as a former advisor to private equity, venture capital and early-stage firms investing in payments and related services, Hatami is perfectly placed to provide an insightful overview of the new wave of innovation sweeping across the financial services sector.

Hatami joins an elite panel of top-level speakers at Finextra Future Money, with representation drawn from leading edge VCs, start-ups, fintech accelerators and front-running banks, including:
  • Edward Budd, GTB head of product infrastructure strategy, Deutsche Bank
  • Dr Mircea Mihaescu, director, IT strategy, technology innovation, venture capital, Sberbank
  • Matthieu Soule, strategic analyst, L'Atelier BNP Paribas
  • Brigid Whoriskey, head of research and innovation, RBS
  • Gustavo Vinacua, innovation center director, BBVA.

Also featured as part of Finextra Future Money, Innotribe, Swift's initiative to enable collaborative innovation in financial services, will select an elite group of start-ups and growth stage innovators to showcase their businesses to this high calibre audience.

Registration for this important two-day event is open now.
